New truck added to Walden's Ridge Emergency Service fleet - WDEF

Light Duty Rescue Truck 3 & 4 / Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Two new rescue trucks have been added to the Waldens Ridge Emergency Service (WRES) fleet.

The two new vehicles are Ford F-550’s with 6.7L Turbo diesel trucks.

These trucks were added to the fleet to help enhance the safety of the community.

Light Duty Rescue Truck 3 replaced an older rescue truck.

It will be used to respond to medical, fire, and rescue calls, while housing the following:

Light Duty Rescue Truck 4 was designed for only wilderness/rescue efforts.

This truck will house the following:

These trucks will be used to respond to all emergencies in their 38.5 square mile district including two State Parks and one National Park.

They can also be used as a Mutual Aid response for the Tri-State Mutual Aid Association.
